Pharmacology: Drug Development Online Course Modules
Modules Module Duration
1. How New Drugs Are Discovered 5 Lessons: 2 hours 30 minutes
2. Considerations for Testing a Drug on Humans 3 Lessons: 2 hours
3. How Investigational Drugs Are Tested in Humans 4 Lessons: 2 hours
4. Regulatory Review Process for New Drugs 5 Lessons: 1 hour 30 minutes
5. Post-Approval Activities 2 Lessons: 1 hour 15 minutes
Each module is divided into 2 or more lessons. Individual lessons vary in duration, requiring between 15 and 40 minutes to complete.

Each module has bookmarking capabilities that are associated with you and the computer from which you access a module. Bookmarking is only retained when re-accessing a module from the same computer. If you should access a module a second time from a different computer, your bookmarking will not carry-over to the second computer. However, a Menu tab is present in all modules that will allow you to navigate through the module to any page you want, including the page last visited.

Included at the end of each lesson are knowledge checks to allow you to self-assess what you have learned. You are given 2 tries to select the correct answer, after which you will be provided with feedback. These knowledge checks are not scored.
